ALBERT H. DEPPE DIES AT HOME
Albert H. Deppe, 64, of Rte. 2, Kellogg, died suddenly Saturday, March 28, at his farm home near Rock Creek Lake of an apparent heart condition.
The son of Ernest and Augusta Brune Deppe, Mr. Deppe was born Sept. 3, 1905, in Rock Creek Township in Jasper County, Iowa. He lived all of his life on the farm where he was born.
Mr. Deppe was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Kellogg.
Survivors include his brother Herman of Rte. 2, Kellogg, and a number of nieces and nephews.
Mr. Deppe was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers--William, Fred and Henry Deppe and a sister in infancy, Minnie Freida Deppe.
Funeral services for Mr. Deppe will be held at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, March 31, at St. Paul's Lutheran church in Kellogg with the Rev. W.H. Lindquist, minister of the church, officiating.
Organist will be Mrs. Carl Buchmeier. Pallbearers will be Bud Deppe, Gerald Deppe, Bob Johnson, Lorne Deppe, Maynard Deppe and Dale Deppe.
Burial will be in the Kellogg Lutheran Cemetery.
Friends may call at the Smith Funeral Home until Tuesday morning and thereafter at St. Paul's Lutheran church in Kellogg.
