OBITUARY :
MRS. ADA L. (HEEFNER) STRAUSBAUGH, 87, widow of Jerry D. Strausbaugh, 216 Lincoln Way East, New Oxford, formerly of 505 West Main Street, Waynesboro, died unexpectedly at 1:55 p.m. Monday at the Hanover General Hospital, Hanover. She had been admitted to the hospital 10 days ago.

Mrs. Strausbaugh was born January 28, 1889 in James Creek, a daughter of the late James and Rebecca (Johnston) Heefner.

Most of her life was lived in the Waynesboro area, moving to New Oxford five years ago.

Mr. Strausbaugh died Dec. 28, 1973.

Mrs. Strausbaugh was a member of the Trinity United Church of Christ, Fidelity Chapter 19 Order of the Eastern Star, Washington, D.C. and the Waynesboro Chapter of the AARP.

She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Elizabeth Higinbotham, New Oxford, and Mrs. S. K. Baker of Fort Worth, Tex.

Also surviving are four grandchildren, seven great­grandchildren and a sister, Mrs. Daisy Heefner, formerly of Fairview Avenue, now residing with her daughter in St. Petersburg, Fla.

Funeral services will be held Thursday at 2:00 p.m. in the Snyder Funeral Home, South Church at Second Street, in charge of the Rev. H. Clayton Moyer. Interment will follow in Green Hill Cemetery.

Friends will be received at the funeral home on Wednesday from 7 to 9 p.m.
