Mary Frances Goings Thomas, 59, a resident of the Pine community, died yesterday in St. Tammany Parish Hospital, Covington. A member of the Harmony Baptist Church, she was the widow of Nollie Thomas. She is survived by three sons and a daughter-in-law, Mickey Thomas, Ricky Thomas, and Jeffrey N. Thomas, Sr. and Sandra Thomas all of Pine; four grandsons, Jeffrey N. Thomas, Jr., Richard Thomas, John William Thomas and Devin Thomas; her mother Christine Barber Goings of Mt. Hermon; four brothers, Felder Goings and Billy Ray Goings, both of Mt. Hermon, Paul Goings of Tylertown, Ms., and Ronald Goings of Kentwood; three sisters, Mrs. J.W. (Thelma) Bryant of Angie, Cathy Spears of Mt. Hermon and Mrs. Rip (Debbie) Rohner of Kentwood. She was also preceded in death by her father, A.T. Goings, and a brother Lonnie Goings. Visitation will be at the Crain Funeral Home in Franklinton tomorrow from 11 a.m. until 10 p.m., continuing after 8 a.m. Saturday. The funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Saturday in the Harmony Missionary Baptist Church with the Revs. R.J. Kennedy and Carl Christian officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
