DANBURY, NC ~ Mr. Darius Mabe, 80, Rt. 2, Walnut Cove, died early Monday at Willowbrook Care Center, Kernersville.
He was born in Stokes County to William Thomas and Rosa Lee Stephens Mabe.
He was a retired farmer and a member of Clear Springs Primitive Baptist Church.
Surviving are three sisters: Mrs. Elsie Cole of Winston-Salem, and Mrs. Mamie Mabe and Mrs. Harvey (Louise) Abbott, both of Walnut Cove; and one brother, Elwood Mabe of Charlotte.
Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Wednesday at Clear Springs Primitive. Baptist Church by Elder Ellis Bullins, Elder William Dodson and Elder J.H. Keaton. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. tonight at Nelson Funeral Home.
