Son of James Ingels and Casandra Shelton Ingels. Husband of Sarah Elizabeth Sidener Ingels.
FUNERAL OF L. S. INGELS
Sunday morning at 2 o'clock, L. S. Ingels died at his home in this city, from the effects of a blood clot on the brain. He was taken sick Wednesday while digging a well near Meriden and Thursday morning, he was brought home in an unconscious condition. he never regained consciousness. He was a member of M. W. A., Royal Neighbors, and Ancient Order of Pyramids. He carried insurance in the amount of $2,000 in the Woodsmen and $1,000 in the Pyramids. He left a wife but no children. His brothers arrived here Saturday night from Atchison and attended the funeral Sunday afternoon at 4 o'clock the funeral services were held at the home, under the auspices of the M. W. A. lodge. The remains were followed to Rose hill Cemetery by the lodge and a number of friends. The funeral ceremony of the order was gone through with at the grave. Mrs. Ingels has the sympathy of the community in the sudden and sad affliction.
