MURRAY, Ky.--Charles P. "Rob" Lamb, 84, of Murray died at 9:20 a.m. Friday at Murray-Calloway County Hospital Long Term Care.
Mr. Lamb was retired from the Murray Post Office and owned an antique business in Hazel. He was a member of Glendale Road Church of Christ.
He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Sue Laverne Wells Lamb; one daughter, Mary Martha Woodruff of Minneapolis; two grandchildren, Susan Brocksieper of Guilford, Conn., and Michael Shirley of Boston; and three great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by two sisters. His parents were Robert and Mary Anna Gibbs Lamb.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at Murray-Calloway Funeral Home. John Dale will officiate. Burial will be in Murray City Cemetery.
Friends may call after 5 p.m. today at the funeral home. Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to the Calloway County Resource Center, 1169 Pottertown Road, Murray, KY 42071.
