A.J. Cutshall, 93, Florence, died Friday, June 5, 2009, at his residence.

He was a member of North Wood United Methodist Church. He was retired from TVA, where he worked as a supervisor in the electrical service shop, and was a 70-year member of the IBEW Local 558. He was adored by his children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and spent his life enabling each of them to be as successful as they possibly could be.

Visitation will be 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. Tuesday, June 9, 2009, at Cutshall Funeral Home Chapel, Iuka, Miss. The funeral will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home chapel, with burial in Pleasant Hill Cemetery. The Rev. Peter Hawker is officiating.

Survivors include his wife, Mildred Cutshall, of Florence; son, Ed Cutshall, Iuka, Miss.; daughters, Carolyn Buchanan, Iuka, Judith Gudgen, of Tuscaloosa, and Charlene Olive, Noonan, Ga.; sister, Inez Medley, Knoxville, Tenn.; 10 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Jason Gudgen, Josh Gudgen, Micha Gobble, Michael Gobble, Michael Olive and Kevin Dill.

Honorary pallbearers include Leigh Gobble, Catherine Kulprathipanja, Ashlee Dill, Kim Davis, Amanda Davy, Julia Mitchell, Holly Jason, Gran Davey and Amy Buchanan.

Memorials may be made to the North Wood United Methodist Church Children's Church Fund.
