Ethel Mary Palmerton, 83, of 2231 Jennifer Lane, died at 2:20 a.m. Sunday in Blanchard Valley Hospital. She had been in failing health.

She was born n Feb. 9, 1897, in Findlay, to Harvey and Elizabeth (Baldwin) Clark. She married Robert L Cotter in 1914 and he died in 1935. She later married Lance Palmerton in 1941 and he died in 1958.

Surviving are three sons, Robert L. Cotter, Route 6, Harrodburg, Ky; Gerald E Cotter, Arcadia; and Jack L Cotter, Colorado Springs, Colo.; a sister, Mrs. Edith Oman, Fremont; six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Palmerton was a homemaker and a member of the First Assembly of God.
