Funeral servies were held at 10am today in the First Baptist Church for Mrs R R Calcote, 67, of Midkiff. Burial was in Eldorado Cemetery
Mrs Calcote died Monday evening following an illness of 3 months. She was born Feb 22, 1902 in Texas and was married May 25, 1925 in San Angelo.
In 1951, she and her husband, R R Calcote, opened the Oil Field Cafe in Midkiff. She was A Baptist.
Survivors include her husband; one son Herman Eugene Calcote of New Brunsfeld; one daughter, Mrs Helen Lawson of Midland; a brother, Sam Chaney of Mertzon; a sister Mrs Horace Lane of Abilene and 11 grandchildren
