Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Monday at Canaday-Boos Funeral Home for Clinton Hess, 67, who died at his rural home four miles east of Momence, Saturday, May 15. The Rev. Paul Wilson, Methodist pastor, officiated and burial was in Mt. Airy cemetery.
Born Oct. 22, 1886, Mr. Hess spent his entire lifetime here. He was married Feb. 26, 1946, in Kankakee to Lucille Hunte, who survives with children, W. Glenn Hess and Edmund Clinton Hess, both of Momence; two step-children, Mrs. Helen Kaack and Leon Hunte of Reddick; 12 grandchildren; four step grandchildren; a brother, John Hess of Wisconsin and a foster sister, Mrs. Cora Boudreau of Steger.
