Wallace Red Miller, 79, of Winchester, died Tuesday, May 15, 2001 at Villa of Georgetown in Georgetown. He was born in Highland County on Oct. 14, 1921, son of the late Fred and Freda (Crothers) Miller. Survivors include a son, Roger Nixon of Winchester; one daughter, Wendy Kay Schirtzinger of Wagner, S.D.; six grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; three sisters, Bertha Sears, Pauline Mars, and Faye Miller all of Peebles, Ohio; two half-sisters, Pearl Vincent and Marie Garrett both of Peebles, Ohio; five brothers, Willard Miller, Buck Miller, Ronnie Miller, Earl Crothers and Junior Crothers all of Peebles.
