Mary died Wednesday at Trinity Pathway Hospice at Trinity. As a youth she worked in her father's music store in downtown Moline. She was a graduate of Rock Island High School. She worked at the Moline Daily Dispatch and lastly John Deere Plow & Planter Works, retiring on December 31, 1987.
From June 1967 until December 2005, she gave over 7200 volunteer hours to Moline Public/Trinity Hospital, working every Sunday afternooon in the hospital gift shop. Mary was active in church and community services. She was also a past member of the Paddlewheel Chapter ABWA.
