Joyce Edmond Tolin, 94, of Topeka passed away on Wednesday evening, April 14, 2010 at his home. Graveside services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, April 19 at Rochester Cemetery. He will lie in state at Davidson Funeral Home from 1-9 p.m. on Sunday, April 18th.

He was born Sept. 11, 1915 at Soldier, KS the son of George E. and Mayme Cox-Tolin.

He was married to Sarah E. Pettijohn on Aug. 15, 1940 in Topeka.

He was an Army Veteran of World War II. He was a carpenter.

He is survived by his wife, Sarah of the home; a daughter, Carla Jane Dodge and husband Andy of Kansas City, MO; son, Craig E. Tolin and wife Caryn of Aubrey, TX; sisters, Ferne Morse of Topeka, Vivian Parr of Baldwin City, KS and five grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by one sister and one brother.
