Mrs. Annie Klimek of West died at 8:40 a.m. Monday in a Waco hospital after a short illness. She was 89.

Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. Wednesday in first Presbyterian Church at West. Rev. Cecil Moore officiated. Burial was in the West Brethren Cemetery.

Mrs. Klimek was born in Fayetteville. Parents were Joseph Adam and Suzzie Krizan Adam.

She had lived in West for 82 years.

She is preceded in death by her first husband, Anton Koval in 1923 and her second husband, John Klimek in 1963.

Survivors are one son, Tony Koval of Houston; three step-sons; eight daughters, Mrs. Millie Bailey and Mrs. Frances Barton, both of Waco, Mrs. Mary Hromadka, Mrs. Rosie Husak, Mrs. Annie Marek, Mrs. Sophie Ferguson, Mrs. Helen Marek, and Mrs. Albina Middlebrook, all of West; one step-daughter; one sister, Mrs. Tereza Zhaick of Quanah; 28 grandchildren, 69 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.

Aderhold Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
