Aaron Lee Choate, 47, Goodson, died Wednesday, April 14, 2010, at his home. The son of Wilfred J. "Junior" and Delcie Kibby Choate, he was born in Springfield July 17, 1962.

Aaron and Mary Hart were married April 11, 1981. They were the parents of four children, Ryan, Joshua, Adam and Elizabeth.

Before becoming disabled, Aaron was a well-driller. He was a member of Half Way Missionary Baptist Church.

An infant brother, Farron Choate, preceded him in death.

Survivors include his wife, Mary, of the home; four children, Ryan Choate, Joshua Choate and wife Lindsey, Adam Choate and Elizabeth Choate, all of Goodson; his parents, Junior and Delcie Choate, Half Way; two granddaughters, Josie LeeAnn Choate and Mary Ann Brazzell; three brothers, Adrian Choate and wife Dewanna, Climax Springs, Myron Choate and wife Cheryl, Half Way, and Errol Choate and wife Jill, Pleasant Hope; one sister, Desree Kapica and husband Steve, Bolivar; and three god-daughters, Cheyenne, Sierra and Sophie Poterbin.

Services are at 2 p.m. tomorrow (Saturday, April 17) at Murray Funeral Home, Bolivar, with Bro. DeWayne Burdette officiating. Interment will be in Lindley Creek Cemetery. Visitation will be today (Friday) from 6 to 8 p.m. Donations in memory of Aaron may be made to Half Way Missionary Baptist Church or Lindley Creek Cemetery in care of Murray Funeral Home, PO Box 506, Bolivar MO 65613.
