Eleanor Rae Webb Grizzard, 81, of Orange Park, Fla., died Aug. 25, 2003 in the Orange Park Medical Center. Born in Waverly, Va., she was a dedicated homemaker and Navy wife and a member of the Cornerstone Baptist Church in Norfolk. Preceding her in death was her husband of 39 years, John Beverly Grizzard (retired Navy), two sisters and a brother.
She is survived by a son, John Barry Grizzard of Orange Park; a daughter and son-in-law, Beverly and John Sunderland of Perry, Fla.; grandsons, John Charles (Jaycee) and Dara Grizzard ; and great-granddaughter, Jaycie Raye of Jacksonville, Fla., David and Angie Sunderland of Oviedo, Fla. and Paul and Leslee Sunderland; a great-grandson, John Joseph due in October; a sister, Mary Ella Webb Featherstun of Jarrett, Va.; and a host of nieces and nephews.
A funeral will be held Thursday at 1 p.m. at Cornerstone Baptist Church in Norfolk, 1500 Sewells Point Road with a visitation from noon until service time with the Rev. Fred Braswell officiating. Interment will follow in Woodlawn Memorial Gardens in Norfolk. Fraser Funeral Home of Macclenny, Fla., is in charge of arrangements.
