Mrs. Lena Z. Shriver[sic], 82, of 2432 Riggan, died at 2:10 a.m. today in a local hospital after a long illness.
She lived 40 years in Karnes County before moving here in 1945. She was a native of Osage.
Surviving are four daughters, Mrs. Jacob Kerner and Mrs. E. O. Marshall, both of Corpus Christi, Mrs. Jake Dunn of Kenedy and Mrs. Raymond E. White of Odessa; three sons, W. J. of Corpus Christi, Fred of San Antonio and E. J. of Waco; a sister, Mrs. Ida Schulze of El Campo, 12 grandchildren, and 23 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be at 9:30 a.m. Friday at Prescott Christian Church with the Rev. Ardra Walker, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Karnes City Cemetery at 2:30 p.m. Friday.
Pallbearers will be E. O. Marshall, W. R. Cummings, Fred Dunn, Richard Shriver, Truett Lee Miller and Stanley Sutton.
