Lucille "Lucy" Layden, 85, passed away at 12:40 a.m. Wednesday, April 14, 2010, at Provena United Samaritans Medical Center in Danville, Vermilion Co., Illinois.
She was born February. 4, 1925 in Pigeon Grove Township, Iroquois Co., Illinois, the daughter of Albert Phillip and Anna Murray Carlon. She married Paul Layden on December 31, 1947, at the Catholic Church in Rankin, Illinois.
She is survived by her husband, five daughters, Ann (Robert) Kidwell, Marie Klein, Lisa Layden, Rita (Tim) Porsche and Rose (Phil) Martin, one son, Mark (Paula) Layden, one sister, Ruth Carlon, seventeen grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, one sister, Lavonne Batterton, one brother, Murray Carlon, one granddaughter, Terese Klein and one grandson, David Klein.
