Donna "Dolores" Martz Fetters, 95, died at 8:50 p.m. Apr. 11, 2010, at The Laurels of Shane Hill in Rockford, Ohio.
She was born Nov. 6, 1914, in Rockford, to Earl Spry Martz and Lucy Evalene Steen Martz. On Nov. 30, 1935, she married Burris Edward Willrath, who died March 14, 1937. She was later briefly married to John Dillon Fetters, who died Aug. 14, 1989.
Dolores graduated from Rockford High School in 1933. She worked in various retail stores in Celina, Ohio, including The Lord Store and The Value Shop, and retired from Hart's (formerly Jamesway). She was a member of Celina Baptist Temple.
Dolores loved her family and enjoyed going to church, quilting, gardening, cooking and traveling. She is dearly loved and will be deeply missed.
Survivors include a daughter, Dolores "Elaine" Boone of Yukon, OK; a daughter-in-law, Marjorie A. Fetters and a former daughter-in-law, Lyn K. Sweeney, both of Celina; a grandson, Paul R. (Charity) Boone of Oklahoma City, OK; two granddaughters, Tess D. Glass of Celina and Debora J. Shaffer of Lima, Ohio; and four great-grandchildren, Kyle and Kody Boone of Oklahoma City, OK, Jennifer Blacketer of Columbus, Ohio, and Eric Alwine of Celina.
She was preceded in death by a stepmother, Anna F. Ailes Martz, a brother, Staff Sgt. Paul F. Martz, a sister, Lela "Jean" Martz Kleimeier, a half sister, Betty E. Martz Swigart, two sons, John "Keith" Fetters and Larry Wayne Fetters, a son-in-law, Billy Raymond Boone, and a grandson, George Raymond Boone.
