Mrs. Jennie Lee Hollon of Oakland City, died at the age of 75, on Thursday morning in Wirth Osteopathic Hospital, of an apparent heart attack.
She was born on May 29, 1901 in Pike County, and had lived in Oakland City most of her lifetime. Mrs. Hollon was a member of the First Christian Church in Oakland City.
Survivors include her husband Albert; three daughters, Mrs. Helen Cox of Oakland City, Mrs. Avenelle Mayhall of Princeton and Mrs. Joy Fields of Evansville; one son, Thomas Houchin of Winslow; three brothers, Lowell and Donald DeJarnett, both of Oakland City, and Lloyd DeJarnett of Glezen; two sisters, Mrs. Mammie Houchin of Glezen and Mrs. Mildred Scanland of Oakland City; 11 grandchildren and 12 grerat-grandchildren.
The Rev. Kevin O'Brien will conduct the 2 p.m. services at Lamb-Hedges Memorial Chapel. Burial will be in Montgomery Cemetery.
Friends may call after 3 p.m. on Friday at the funeral home.
