Lee Roy Aldridge died at age 56 years in McCurtain, Oklahoma. He was born in August 1891 at Old Bokoshi, Indian Territory (nic-named Shake Rag),Oklahoma. He died of Liver Cancer. He had Yellow Jaundice at the time he died. He did not work much and when he did it was of "Common Labor". He was married to Laura Ester Gill but they had divorced before his death. Lee Roy has several brothers, Martin Luther Aldridge, Ulysse Grant Aldridge, Benjamin Harrison Aldridge and sisters, Julia Angiline Aldridge, Caroline Aldridge, Addiline Aldridge, Etta Mae Aldridge. Lee Roy also had several step brothers, John Aldridge, Henry Aldridge, David Aldridge, Edward Aldridge and step sisters, Michiel Aldridge, Melinda Aldridge, Louise Aldridge, and Amanda Aldridge. These step brothers and sisters were by Milton Jiles Aldridge prior to his marriage to Mary Francis Gilliam Aldridge. Lee Roy had three children two that survived him. He had Gladys, Milton, and Francis Janetta, who died at 2 years old (1918-1920) She is also buried in Old Panther Cemetery in McCurtain, Oklahoma (with no tombstone or marker). Lee is buried at the foot of his parents, Milton Jiles born April 16, 1825 and died April 16, 1907 and Mary Francis Gilliam Aldridge born March 7, 1856 and died July 2, 1929. He has no grave marker of his own. Lee is also preceded in death by his Grandfather Felix Aldridge and Grandmother Sarah Betsey Hill Aldridge as well as his Great-grand parents John Aldridge and Socky Aldridge. It is unknown where these relatives are buried to date.
