Fred A. Powell Dead
Fred A. Powell, aged 27 years died at the residence of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Bull at 5 o'clock last night. The cause of death was pneumonia. Mr. Powell had been sick about two weeks. The deceased was employed on a farm east of the city from last November until the time he was taken sick. He leaves a wife and two children, a girl 4 years of age and an infant daughter. His parents also survive him. The father J. A. Powell of Cotton County, Okla., arrived here today and will take the body of his son to Walter, Okla., tonight for burial. Funeral services will be held at 5 o'clock this evening at the Bull residence, 422 West Adams avenue, conducted by Rev. R. J. Church. The wife of the deceased is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Bull.
