Edgar F. Brown, Jr., of Flower Mound, passed away Friday, July 26, 2013 in Corinth. Ed was born August 30, 1924 in Birmingham, Alabama. He proudly served his country during World War II in the United States Air Force. He married Myrna Harris March 18, 1968 in Lewisville. She preceded him in death on July 13, 2013. Ed and Myrna owned Triple B Manufacturing Company for many years. Following that, he owned and operated Ed's Body Shop. In 1985 he joined the Denton County Sheriff's Department as a reserve deputy where he remained active until 2004. Ed was an avid pilot, having owned and piloted his own Cessna Centurion. Ed is survived by his children Kitty Everhart, Michael Brown, James Brown, Sherry Koen and Buddy Brown, 19 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren . Ed was also preceded in death by daughters Darlene Wagner, Linda Williams and Kathy Wheat. Funeral service will be held 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, July 30 at Mulkey-Mason Funeral Home in Lewisville. Interment will follow at Shiloh Cemetery in Flower Mound. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Monday at the funeral home. For online condolences please visit www.mulkeymason.com.
