Peter Cole, one of the highly esteemed pioneers of Johnson County, passed away at his home in Union Township Friday afternoon at 3:30 pm, after an illness of about a week. He resided in Johnson County for many years. A large circle of friends will learn of is death with regret.
Only six months ago he buried his wife. He is survived by 6 sons, Joseph, Frank, Louis, William, George and John; two daughters, Mrs. V. Haman, and Mrs. Kate Crofter.
