Dr. Harlan B. Anderson
Casper - Services for Dr. Harlan B. Anderson, 69, who died Sept. 23, 1988, at his home in Casper after a brief illness, will be Wednesday at 2 p.m. at Bustard Funeral Home, with Rev. George Hodges of the Presbyterian Church officiating.
He was born April 18, 1919, at Deman, Neb., and grew up and graduated from high school at Fullerton, Neb. He attended Parson's College and then the University of Nebraska at Lincoln.
He received his M.D. degree from the University of Nebraska Medical School at Omaha in 1943. HE interned at Clarkson Hospital in Omaha and took his residency at Milwaukee County Hospital prior to going into the Army. He came to Casper in 1947, where he went into the practice of orthopedic medicine with Dr. Gordon Whiston, retiring in 1978.
On Sept. 4, 1947, he married Evelyn Moore at Julesburg, Colo.
Dr. Anderson was a member of the Casper Elks Lodge, First Presbyterian Church, and was a past president of the Wyoming Medical Society.
Survivors include his widow, Evelyn; one son and granddaughter, all of Casper; and one brother, Muriel Anderson, of Scottsdale, Ariz.
He was preceded in death by one son, Eric, and one brother, Carroll. Burial will be in Highland Cemetery. Flowers or memorials to a charity of the donor's choice will be equally appreciated by the family.
