Charles D. Dietrich, 70, of 501 Main St., Blandon, died Sunday night in the Reading Hospital and Medical Center, where he was a patient since Jan. 10.
Born in Greenwich Township, he was a son of the late Charles and Mary (Koller) Dietrich.
He was employed as a laborer by the Birdsboro Steel Corp. before retiring in 1973.
Dietrich was a member of the Meadowbrook Country Club and beneficial association; Northkill Rod and Gun Club and beneficial association; Kempton Rod and Gun Club and beneficial association; Leesport and Mount Pleasant fire companies and beneficial associations; and the Blandon Fire Company.
Surviving are his wife; Margaret E. (Kintzer) Dietrich; and two sisters: Lillian, wife of Henry Hartman, Shoemakersville, and Florence, wife of Paul Bailey, Kempton R.D.2.
Services will be Wednesday at 1:30 p.m. in the Harry Milkins Funeral Home, Temple, the Rev. John F. Schaeffer Jr. officiating. Burial will be made in the Host Cemetery.
