Russell B. Albright
Russell Bidwell Albright, 78, of 139 E. Smithfield, Bradford, died in Dettmer Hospital, Saturday morning.
Born in Darke County, January 3, 1895, he was the son of the late George and Minnie Curl Albright.
He was a retired foreman on the Penn Central Railroad and was a member of Masonic Lodge 593, Order of the Eastern Star 241 Bradford United Methodist Church, and the Village Council on which he served eight years and was a past president.
Surviving him are his wife, the former Bessie Stump, with whom he had celebrated his sixtieth wedding anniversary June 14; one son, William, Fort Lauderdale, Florida; one daughter, Mrs. Mary Alice Brown, West Milton; ten grandchildren; one great-grandchild, and three sisters, Mrs. Lillian Ackley, Woodland, California; Mrs. May Kelch, Sidney; and Mrs. Helen Miller, Dayton. Two sons, Berman and Frank preceded him in death.
Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday at 2 p.m. in the Bradford United Methodist Church by the Rev. David Wilson. Burial will be in Abbottsville Cemetery.
Friends may call at the Stocker Funeral Home, Bradford, Monday from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Masonic Lodge of Sorrow will be Monday at 8 p.m. in the funeral home.
