Daughter of Henry Glant and Elizabeth Ross of McVeytown. First wife of William Alexander Briggs and mother of William Harry, Gertrude Ann, Edward Elliot, and Buoth Boyd. Mollie Glant Briggs died at the age of 32 of typhoid fever. She is buried in the Glant family plot with her parents.

OBITUARY:
Deaths in Orbisonia, Huntingdon County, PA on Monday, 7/5/1880, Mrs. Mary A Briggs, aged 32 y 2m & 8 d. Mrs. Briggs was a daughter of Henry & Elizabeth Glant of this place and in compliance to her request, the remains were brought to McVeytown for interment. "Dear sister, thou art gone but not forgotten."
