Nadie Buchanan
Mrs Nadie Buchanan, 65, a resident of Halfway died Tuesday [Dec 18 1962] at St. Elizabeth hospital following a long illness.
Mrs Buchanan was born in Pine Valley May, 1897 and attended schools there. She was the daughter of Zeno and Cora Ann Ludiker Denny. She was married to Joseph A Buchanan in Weiser in 1939.
She was a member of the Halfway Presbyterian church and a former member of the Halfway Post VFW Auxiliary.
Survivors include the widower, Joseph Buchanan, halfway; two daughters, Dollie Jean Bluhm, Halfway and Marie Griffin, Elgin; two step-sons, Raymond Buchanan,, Corvallis, Mont.; two brothers, Noel and Edgar Denny, both of Medford; one sister, Nellie Laam, Moses Lake, Wn., and nine grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted Thursday (today) at 2pm at the Presbyterian church in Halfway with the Rev. Hugh Bronson officiating. Interment will be in Pine Haven cemetery under the direction of the Beatty Chapel.
