HOLLIS, LAURA E., age 84 of Dora passed away Saturday April 10, 2010. She was a member of Bethel Baptist Church in Dora. Funeral services will be Tuesday April 13, 2010 at 11:30 am in the New Horizon Memorial Chapel. Rev. John Foles and Rev. William Rice will officiate. Burial will follow at Bethel Baptist Cemetery. Visitation is Monday night 5:30-9 pm at the funeral home.
She was preceded in death by her parents Fred and Rachel Ash. Survivors include her husband of 60 years, Gene Hollis; sons, Rick Hollis and wife Sue and Robert Hollis and wife Gale, all of Dora; grandchildren, Chris and wife Andrea Hollis, April and husband Matt Thomas and Cole Hollis; great grandchildren, Briley Gracin Thomas and Reed Christopher Hollis; two nieces and a host of friends.
