Julian enlisted in the US Navy and received an Honorable Discharge as a Seaman First Class during WWII from 1944 to 1946. Julian was a Custodian for the Peekskill City School System from 1955 until his retirement in 1988. After his retirement Julian and his wife Eleanor enjoyed many trips to Las Vegas and Atlantic City. Also, he was a Fifty year plus member of the Centennial Hose Fire Company in Peekskill. Julian is survived by his devoted son, Joseph, two grandchildren John and Jessica, one brother and six sisters. Predeceased by his loving wife of 52 years, Eleanor in 2007 and son, Samuel in 2001.
