Dies Saturday

De Queen - Mrs. Laura L. Wright, 56, wife of Milton Wright of near Gillham, died in an Oklahoma City hospital at 11:40 p.m. Saturday.

The body was returned Sunday, and funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Shady Grove Cemetery west of Gillham with the Rev. Raymond E. Goodwin officiating. Burial was in Shady Grove Cemetery.

Mrs. Wright was born June 21, 1902 at Hochatown, and lived in Sevier County for a number of years.

Besides her husband, she is survived by her daughter, Mrs. C.W. Higgins of Gillham; one brother, Charlie Roden, Broken Bow; four sisters, Mrs. Molly Eichenlaub of Erie, Penn., Mrs. Minnie Jacobs, Broken Bow, Mrs. A.B. Jacobs and Mrs. Cora German of Idabel; and three grandchildren.
