Mrs. Addie Hancock Davison, 93, of 831 McDow Drive, Rock Hill, SC, passed away on Sunday, October 14, 2007 at Westminster Health and Rehab in Rock Hill. Burial will be at 2:00 pm, Thursday, Oct. 18, at Laurelwood Cemetery with the funeral service to follow at 2:30 pm at Greene Funeral Home Northwest Chapel with Dr. Jack Basie officiating. A native of Montmorenci, SC, but has resided in Rock Hill since 1928, Mrs. Davison was the daughter of the late James Lester Hancock and the late Eva Prudance Hudson Hancock. She was a member of Westminster Presbyterian Church and formerly a bookkeeper at Rock Hill Cold Storage. She was the widow of William "Monk" Claude Davison. Mrs. Davison is survived by her sons, Robert "Bob" Davison and wife, Marie of Charleston, SC and William "Bill" Davison, Jr. and wife, Jody of Fort Mill; her grandchildren, Dr. Katheryn Barden, Janice Hucks, William C. Davison, III, Elizabeth Mixon, and Jennifer Olson; and five great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by five sisters and two brothers. The family will receive friends 6:30-8 pm Wednesday, Oct. 17, at GREENE FUNERAL HOME NORTHWEST CHAPEL, 2133 Ebenezer Road, Rock Hill.
