William Clarence Abernathy, 71, of Route 5,
died Thursday, March 26, 1970, at Lewisburg.
Funeral services were conducted Friday after-
noon, March 27, at 2:00 o'clock in the chapel
of Bennett-May Funeral Home with Rev. Jim
Parsons officiating. Burial was in Pisgah
Cemetery.
A native of Giles County, he was born April 28,
1898, the son of Hardy and Carrie McCormack
Abernathy. Survivors include three sisters,
Mrs. Elmo Gunter of Mt. Juliet, Mrs. Willie
Harwell, and Mrs. J.D. Brashears, both of
Pulaski.
