VETERAN OF WORLD WAR IOBITUARY OF SIBLEY A. JINES

Funeral Services for Sibley A. JINES, 90, who died July 26, were held July 29 in Boxwell Brothers Chapel with Rev. Albert Lindley of the First United Methodist Church and Rev. Jack Pearce of the First Baptist Church officiating. Burial was in Ochiltree cemetery under the direction of Boxwell Brothers.

JINES was born on February 24, 1896, in Ochiltree County. He has been a life-long resident of the county. He was a veteran of World War I, was a farmer-rancher, and sold read estate and insurance until he retired in 1960. JINES was a member of the First Baptist Church.

He was married to Cleita DOWERS on July 26, 1919, in Perryton. She died October, 1985.

Survivors include one son, Sidney, of Perryton; one daughter, Doris HARLOW of Dumas; one brother, Jack, of Perryton; five grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

The family requests that any memorials should be made to the Cal Farley Boys Ranch or the Museum of the Plains.
