Lola, age 86, of Boscobel, passed away on Thursday. She was born on Irish Ridge, Crawford County, to Lyle & Emma (Shimpach) Greene. She married LaVern Moran on Dec. 25, 1941, in Boscobel. He preceded her in death on Oct. 8, 2005. She was also preceded in death by her infant sister and parents. She will be remembered for her love of family and friends, plus her great sense of humor and wonderful laugh. She is survived by three daughters, Marilyn Guastamacchio of Seal Beach, CA, Karen (Hank) Carpowich of Henderson, NV, and Bernice (Dennis) Mathews of Murrieta, CA; 17 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; 16 great-great-grandchildren; and a sister, Audrey Bos of Kalamazoo, MI. Memorial Service was held in Murrieta, CA at the Murrieta Valley Funeral Home on Monday. Funeral services were held on Sunday, April 18, at United Methodist Church in Boscobel, with Pastor Stan Pegram officiating.
