Beverly A. Ritta (Gillings), 70, passed away Thursday, November 9, 2000 at Victory Memorial Hospital.
She was born March 19, 1930, the daughter of Louis (Bill) and Priscilla Gillings. She lived all of her life in this area. On October 15, 1947 she married Jack Ritta and lived in Waukegan, IL. They had four children. She worked for Handy Andy Home Improvement Centers until she retired.
She is survived by two daughters and a son, Diane (Paul) Smith of Delaware, Cheryl (Jerry) Atkins of Gurnee, and Jack Michael Ritta of Waukegan; seven grandchildren, April Ritta, Amber, Christopher and Autumn Levandoski, Jeremy Atkins, Kimberlee Daudt and Tiffani Wilkins; a sister, Marguerite Barto of Waukegan.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Jack Ritta; son Russell Ritta; mother and father, Louis and Priscilla Gillings; and two brothers, G. Robert Gillings and George E. Gillings.
Visitation will be held at MARSH FUNERAL HOME OF GURNEE, 305 Cemetery Rd from 5 to 8 PM Sunday, November 12, 1000 only. Graveside service will be at 1 PM Monday, November 13, 2000 at the Millburn Cemetery with Pastor John Holm giving the eulogy.
