BUTTS, Ruth Iora Miller was born July 16, 1915, to Delbert Franklin and Iora Delle (Sebring) Miller. She was born and raised near the banks of the Wabash River in Dark County Ohio. In 1935 she made her way to Centerville where she operated the Centerville locker plant and was known to those patrons as Miss Adele. In 1959 she took a position for Dorothy Lane Markets and retired from the accounting department there in 1989.

She was preceded in death by her parents, three grandsons, Joseph Belvo, Anthony Butts, and Johnny Butts, and her beloved Carlos Crum. She had four children Thomas Rockland, of California. Grandchildren Debbie, Melanie, Dorothy, Tommy, and Timmy. Hazel Lee Belvo of Minnesota. Grandchildren Daniel Belvo and great grandchildren Daniel Estes, Rebecca, David, and Sam of Ohio. Grandson Briand Morrison and great granddaughters Rachel and Elizabeth of Minnesota. Melvin Butts Of Arizona and grandchildren Jeff Butts (CA) and great grandchildren Brandy, Matthew (OH), and Rhianna (CA). Vickie Massey and great granddaughter Virginia Anne (OH), Marc Butts (FL), James and Patrick Butts great granddaughters Tasha and Courtney (OH). Daughter Carole Anne Jones (OH) and grandchildren Theresa Iora Ryan, great grand children, Chandra Leslie (LA), Wendy Minton (FL), Bryan and Christopher Adcock (OH). Grandson Duane Jones (TX) and great grandchildren Haili, Damien (OH), Andrew (TX). Grandson Denver Jones (OH) and great granddaughter Jessica. She was blessed with 13 great-great grandchildren. She was an elegant, vibrant, intelligent and gentle woman. We will all miss her very much.
