He served his country in the US Navy and retired from O'Neill Packing as a Maintenance Supervisor. He is preceded in death by his father, Brigido; aunt and uncle, Natalie and Eleno Aguirre; brothers, Danny and Mario Becerra; son-in-law, Lance Hannon. Survivors include his wife of 32 years, Linda; children and spouses, Lenny, Walnut, IA, Angie Mitchell and John, Kelly Hannon, Shannon and Jeffrey Porter, Kimberly and Rudy Lynn Becerra, all Council Bluffs; 9 grandchildren; mother, Eleanor; siblings and spouses, Rachel Simmons and Jim, Henrietta Caballero, Raul Becerra and Joyce, Brigida Winans and Jim, Gilbert "Goobie" Becerra and Candy, John Becerra and Danna, Richie Becerra, Cecilia Baker, Sonia Howell and Randy; many nieces and nephews.
