Raymond Crissman, 76, Kittanning RD 3, was dead on arrival at the Armstrong County Memorial Hospital Wednesday night, Sept. 20, 1978, after suffering a heart attack. Crissman, a former resident of Floyd Cliff, was born Nov. 18, 1901 to the late R. A. and Annie (Johns) Crissman in East Franklin Township. He was retired from PPG in Ford City and was a member of the Brush Valley Brethren Church, Adrian. He is survived by four sons; Arthur, Kittanning RD 4; Raymond A., Adrian RD 1; Russell, Kittanning RD 3 and William, Kittanning RD 6; and two daughters, Helen at home; and Mrs. Fred (Martha) Frick, Kittanning RD 3. Also surviving are one sister, Nora Klingensmith, Ford Cliff; 14 grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. His wife, Martha Crissman, died August 19, 1974. CRISSMAN – Friends of Raymond Crissman, who died Sept. 20, 1978, will be received at the F. Duane Snyder Funeral Home from 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday and from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday. Services will be held at the funeral home at 1:30 p.m. Saturday with the Rev. Thomas Kidder, pastor of the Brush Valley Brethren Church, officiating. Burial will be in the Ford City Cemetery, Ford City. Arrangements by Snyder of Kittanning.
