James D. Moore, 67, of Marion, died Nov. 26 at his home. He was a member of Hurricane Church, was caretaker of Hurricane Cemetery, was a member of Hurricane Camp Board and Bigham Lodge No. 256.

Surviving are his wife, Polly Moore of Marion; a son, Jackie Moore of Marion; a daughter, Jennifer Doom of Smithland; a sister, Karen Ordway of Marion; a brother, Bill Moore of Draffenville; and one grandson.

He was preceded in death by a daughter, Barbara Gail Moore; and his parents, Douglas and Lucille Moore.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m., Nov. 29 at Gilbert Funeral Home with Rev. Jimmy Porter and Rev. Tony Alexander officiating. Burial will be in Hurricane Cemetery.
