The daughter of W. A. and Martha Alexander, both born in Missouri, she was single, and died of pulmonary tuberculosis, according to her death certificate which was signed by D. Alexander of Duncans Bridge, Missouri.

Obituary (Madison (MO) Times, Aug. 2, 1917)- Miss Ida May Alexander died at her home northwest of Ash Saturday evening at 11 o'clock after an illness of many months. Deceased is survived by her mother, Mrs. Mattie Alexander, and one brother, Robert Alexander, of near Ash. Funeral services were held from the Baptist church at Ash Monday afternoon and burial was made in the Ash cemetery.
