OBITUARY :
RALPH W. LYDIC, 48, of Waynesboro, Route 2, died Wednesday morning at the Waynesboro Hospital after a two year illness.

Born in Windber, Pa., he was the son of Steele Lydic, Greencastle, Route 1, and the late Bessie (Skiles) Lydic.

A member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church in Waynesboro, he was last employed by the Landis Machine Company.

Surviving, in addition to his father, are his wife, Mrs. Evelyn (Izer) Lydic; children Ralph W., Jr., with the National Guard at Fort Knox, Ky., and Lynda M. and Connie, at home; brothers, Paul, Greencastle, Route 1, Frank, Chambersburg, Route Six, and Norman, Greencastle, Route One; and a sister, Mrs. Martin Bartola, Greencastle, Route One.

Funeral services will be held Saturday at 1:30 p.m. at the Seventh Day Adventist Church in Waynesboro, the Rev. Merton Henry officiating. Burial will be in Green Hill Cemetery, Waynesboro.

Friends may call at the Minnich Funeral Home in Greencastle this evening from 7 to 9.
