DURHAM -- Died at the home of her son, at Cheswold, Del., Nov. 11, 1905, Mrs. Sallie A. Durham. Sister Durham had been a consistent member of the Methodist Church for a number of years; but when she heard the third angel's message over six years ago, she desired at once to unite with this people, and was baptized by the writer in Silver Salke, near Dover, Delaware. She remained a faithful Christian until she fell asleep in Jesus November 11. Sister Durham was nearly eighty-two years of age, and on Sabbath morning, November 11, she was dressed, and was just going out to get into the carriage to go to church, when she was stricken down, and in a few hours died of paralysis. She leaves six sons, three daughters, and a wide circle of friends to mourn their loss. Words of comfort were spoken by the writer from Col. 3:1-4. She was laid to rest in the Methodist cemetery by the side of her husband, until the Life-giver shall come.
