Peter Fales, IV was born on the 14th of October 1778 in Wrentham, Massachusetts the 7th child of Peter Fales, III 1732-1826 and his wife, Aves BICKNELL 1740-1822.

On the 10th of September 1797 Peter Fales, IV married his 1st Wife: “Chloe” SHEPHERD 1777-bet 1809-15? maybe after 1850, in Foxboro, Massachusetts. At the time, Peter was a Farmer and a Blacksmith. The Peter Fales Family resided in the Union, Lincoln, Maine area during the 1800-1810 era.

FIRST WIFE: “Chloe” SHEPHERD Fales died sometime between 1809 and 1815.

After the death of his First Wife, Peter Fales, IV married his SECOND WIFE: Judith Ann COLE 1788-1856 on the 21st of February 1815 by Reverand Bates.

Peter Fales, IV was very prolific and became the Father of Nine Children with his SECOND WIFE: Judith Ann COLE Fales and Seven children from his FIRST WIFE: Chloe SHEPHERD Fales having a total of 16 children.

In 1820 the Fales Family was living in Monroe, Orange County, NEW YORK then in 1830, they removed to Conewango, Cattaraugus, NEW YORK then in 1840 until his death in 1857, the Peter Fales, IV Family were residing in Southington, Trumbull County, Ohio. Peter Fales, IV died on the 30th of September 1857 in Southington, Ohio and can be found in the Peck Cemetery located in Cumberland, Providence County, Rhode Island. However, per a note by Superkentman - now deceased, who created the FindAGrave Memorial #23595186 for Peter Fales, IV and transferred it to Myself, Carole Anne BROWN Whittemore – FindAGrave #46909143, he explains the Tombstone is a “Cenotaph” that his actual burial is elsewhere. Peter Fales, IV and his wives are interred in the JOY Cemetery located in Trumball County, Ohio.

It was a pleasure to write this biography of My 4th Great Grandfather, Peter Fales, IV to honor the memory of My Great Grandma Rosa Ellen FALES Widdifield 1878-1964! She presented Me with many wonderful treasures of Our Family – complete with photos and hand written stories. She was very PROUD of Her Family as am I.
