Married Arthur Oliver Lacey (1874-1941). Mother of five children.
Mattie and her family moved to Mapleton, Kansas by ox cart in the 1880's, Married Arthur Lacey in 1896. They moved to Fort Scott then to Blue Mound, KS where they had a farm. Moved to San Dimas, CA in 1903 during which time they owned a boarding house. They bought an orange grove in Ontario, Ca in 1926.
Mattie moved to Pomona, Ca. following the death of her husband, Arthur, in the 1940's. She had a wonderful sense of humor and was always a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother. We miss her.
