Louise was the daughter of William Van Derveer and Sarah Elizabeth Weise. She married George Parker on Sept 12, 1872 at Earlville, IA. They were the parents of Clarence, Ray, and George Jr.

The Sac Sun - Friday , February 3rd, 1882 - Mrs GM Parker received a telegram yesterday announcing the death of a sister, Mrs WJ Vanderveer of Dubuque, and started with Mrs Parker yesterday to attend the funeral service.

The Sac Sun - Thursday , February 17th, 1898 - Mrs MC Healy possesses a beautiful hand figured silk shawl of Paris manufacture, an heirloom of great value. It was purchased by her father WP Vanderveer more than 60 years ago.

HER MOTHERS OBIT - Waverly Democrat - Thursday , October 23rd, 1890 - Mrs. Sarah E. Vanderveer died at the residence of her son, Mr. H.R. Vanderveer, in this city, on Friday, Oct. 17, 1890, at the age of 75 years. She leaves three sons, H.R., W.J. and Charles, and two daughters, Mrs. G.M. Parker and Mrs. M.C. Healy. The remains were taken to Sac City, Iowa, for interment.
