Mrs Augustus Bankert
Mrs. Emma Kate Bankert, aged 73 years, died Tuesday, October 7, 1947, at the
home of her sister, Mrs. Chester Geiman, near Melrose, Maryland. She was the
daughter of the late Joseph and Caroline (Baum) Lippy. Her first husband was
Milton A Bachman, after whose death she married the late Augustus Bankert.
Surviving are two sisters: Mrs. Chester Geiman, Melrose, and Mrs. Henry Sell,
Bachman's Valley, Md.
The Rev. Elwood S. Falkenstein, pastor of the Grace Lutheran church,
Westminster, officiated at the serviced held this afternoon at 2 o'clock at the
William A. Feiser funeral home, Carlisle street, Hanover. Interment will be in
Krider's Lutheran cemetery, near Westminster.
