NORTHBOROUGH, Mass. ? Ralph C. Biehl, 88, of Marietta, died Sunday (Feb. 5, 2006) in Northborough, Mass., surrounded by his family.

He was born in Marietta, a son of Herman and Florence Berg Biehl. He moved to Northborough three years ago, following an illness.

Ruth E. Biehl, his wife of 48 years, died in 1988. He leaves a son, Donald L. Biehl and his wife, Heidi (Peters), of Northborough; a daughter, Barbara A. Biehl of Virginia Beach, Va.; a brother, Arthur C. Biehl of Marietta; two grandchildren, Donald P. and Elizabeth R. Biehl, both of Northborough, Mass.; and nieces and nephews.

Ralph was a U.S. Navy veteran who served during World War II. He was an active member of the American Legion Post 64 and the VFW Post 5108 in Marietta before moving to Massachusetts.

He enjoyed woodworking, camping, outdoor activities, traveling, and spending time with family and friends.

Services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at Hadley Funeral Home, Reno Chapel, 1021 Pike St., with Pastor Gale Lauderman Jr. officiating. Friends may call from noon Friday until the time of the services. Burial will be in East Lawn Memorial Park with full military honors by American Legion Post 64 and VFW Post 5108.
