He was a grocery store manager and a member of the London Assembly of God. Joe enjoyed farming his land in the London Community in Arkansas and his land in Wynnewood, Oklahoma.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Bobbi Witt; a daughter, June Bates; his parents; two brothers; and a sister. Survivors include two sons, Larry Witt (Jonalin) of Raymore, MO, Bob Witt of Hot Springs, AR; one daughter, Brenda Smale (Bill) of El Centro, CA; one step-daughter, Barbara McDonald (Lynn) of Covina, CA; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family.
Visitation will be held from 5:00PM – 7:00PM, Thursday, May 25th, 2017 at Humphrey Funeral Service in Russellville, AR. Funeral Service will be held at 6:00PM, Friday, May 26, 2017 at Oaklawn Cemetery in Wynnewood, OK. A viewing will be held one hour before the service.
